Professional background

Ute Dubois is an Associate Professor of economics at ISG Business School in Paris (France). Her main research topic is Energy Poverty with a focus on public policy analysis and qualitative social research. Ute’s background is in Energy Economics and New Institutional Economics. In her doctoral research at University Paris Sud, she has analysed the governance of competitive reforms in the electricity sector, with a focus on Germany. In the past twelve years, her research has focused on the analysis of energy poverty policies in France and in Europe, on the question of identification of energy poor households and on the relations between energy poverty and health. Since 2017, Ute is a member of the ENGAGER COST Action, a European research network on energy poverty.
