Katherine holds a BSc Environmental Management. She is currently PhD student on Environment and Sustainability course at NOVA University of Lisbon. Her PhD Thesis focused on the integration of climate change and energy poverty agendas in Portugal. She has been working for 2 years as a researcher at CENSE, investigating the transferability of energy poverty indexes. She holds a MSc Environment and Public Policy, and spent 2.5 years delivering a community energy efficiency project in Kent U.K. Her specific expertise includes stakeholder analysis, quantitative analysis and experience of working with energy poor households.
